Is online SEO training better than in person training?
Probably not.
The one thing you miss is context.
During my private in person SEO training sessions I always try and relate the topics to the persons website and industry. This really does help when trying to understand topics like Keyword Research and Searcher Intent.
Different industries need to create different types of content targeted to different people. For example, you could be an online shop selling trousers or a charity providing help for the homeless. The way you would optimise these websites would be very different.
A good trainer can also read the faces of their trainees and get a clue as to whether a topic is understood. When I’m sat opposite trainees I can spot if someone ‘doesn’t get it’ and offer different examples if needed.
So in person training is usually a better learning process but that doesn’t mean on demand training should be ignored. If you ‘don’t get’ anything then please email me as support is offered for 12 months.
